Regulars and staff of the Dog Sports and Music Bar in Wellgate, Clitheroe, held a skills auction to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Care, raising a total of £719.

Skills on offer included painting and decorating, plastering, building and car servicing from Clitheroe Components and AJA Vehicle Repair Centre in Oswaldtwistle.

Generous raffle prizes were donated by Garay’s Hairdressers and Hoody Marvellous.

Licensee Liz Porter said: “We are extremely grateful to all our customers and staff who helped and supported the event in different ways.

“We even had a couple of our regulars, Rick and Jamie, dressed in black tie and waiting on the tables. It was a great night!”
