Wayne Eccles, Site Manager at Miller Homes’ Montgomerie Gardens development off Woone Lane, Clitheroe, was among the winners at the 2013 NHBC Pride in the Job Awards.

Now in their 32nd year, the awards recognise and aknowledge the UK’s best site managers. In total, Miller Homes notched up 23 wins at this year’s awards, marking it as one of the industry’s top performers.

Site managers are judged on a number of criteria including consistency of high standards, leadership, technical expertise, interpretation, health and safety and “the X factor” – something special which sets the site manager apart.

Chris Endsor, Chief Executive of Miller Homes, said: “Building homes of the finest quality is our number one priority, and we work very hard to ensure that we are continually raising our standards. To have this hard work recognised yet again is tremendous, and we are extremely proud of Wayne and all our other winning site managers.”

The Montgomerie Gardens development is well under way. Works has already commenced on the former brown field site which is set to be transformed into a tranquil and exclusive development comprising 126 new homes including two bedroom apartments plus a mix of two, three and four bedroom homes.
