A RIBBLE Valley based firm will be lifting the spirits of the Olympian athletes - quite literally.
For lift provider Axess 2 has set up a number of lifts within the Olympic Park.
Marketing Manager Nathan Massey explains: “We’ve been working with P J Carey’s on The London Energy Centre for Cofely-Suez. The Energy Centre has been designed by Cofely-Suez to provide an efficient low-carbon heating and cooling system across the site for the 2012 Games.
“The system we fitted here was a three-stop platform lift, chosen for its energy-efficiency, and the fact that it is a space-saving ‘pitless’ lift.’’
This is just another string to the bow of the Clitheroe firm that has been working with some major household names recently, including Apple, Audi, Next and Omega.
Axess 2’s lift was opened in a VIP launch attended by the firm’s Managing Director Mr Darren Cardwell.
Axess 2 has also recently signed a deal with one of the UK’s biggest lift maintenance companies, meaning that they now have more than 185 nationwide engineers at their disposal.
