A SURVEY by Lloyds TSB has revealed that 57% of students don’t have enough money to make it through the month, or can only just make ends meet.

Clitheroe Community Church, working in partnership with UK charity Christians Against Poverty, will help local students to be better prepared through a simple two-session course this August.

The students will be equipped with budgeting tools and methods to help manage an irregular income through fun and interactive case studies, games and activities. Members of Clitheroe Community Church are hoping to build on the success of previous CAP Money courses, which many local people have already benefited from.

“CAP Money Students” takes place on Saturday August 18th, between 2 and 6 p.m., and Tuesday August 21st, from 7-30 p.m., at The King’s Centre, Millthorne Avenue, Clitheroe.

All CAP Money courses are free, but booking is essential. To find out more or to book a place call 01200 444148, e-mail: cap.money.ccc@gmail.com or visit: www.capmoney.org
