OPENING: Olympian Samantha Murray opens Clitheroes newest nursery Bambinos Boutique Daycare.

OLYMPIC silver medallist Samantha Murray officially opened Clitheroe’s new Bambinos Boutique Daycare.

The pentathlete visited the purpose-designed, high-specification nursery in Garnett Road on its opening day, which gave members of the public the opportunity to view the new facilities.

Donna Simpson, of Bambinos, said: “The reason we asked Samantha is that she is a great inspiration to the children, promoting the fact that every child should be encouraged to reach their full potential.”

The business’s owner, mother-of-three Keri Jackson (33), who lives just around the corner in Whitewell Drive, was driven to open Bambinos Boutique Daycare after the success of Little-Bo-Peeps Child-minding which she established in 2006.

This new nursery is based in the former Spar shop building, which has been totally redesigned and refurbished. It offers the latest in security and interactive parenting software plus a state-of-the-art outdoor provision.
