HUNDREDS of would-be employees attended Ultraframe’s recruitment open day as the company prepared to take on 30 new workers.

It was the first time the Clitheroe firm had opened its doors in this way and invited potential new employees to tour the facilities and see what they could be part of.

Andy Crowe, operations director, said: “The day was a great success and we have received over 300 applications to date. It really showed how serious we are about finding the right people to work in our business and demonstrated the local community’s commitment in making the effort to come and be part of the day.”

Sue Holt, human resources manager, said interviews would start over the next few weeks for production operatives.
