AWARD WINNER: The Three Fishes at Mitton. (s)

RIBBLE Valley pub the Three Fishes, at Mitton, has been placed 32nd in The Budweiser Budvar Top 50 Gastropub Awards.

Andy Morris, operations director of Ribble Valley Inns, said: “It is a great achievement to be recognised in The Top 50 Gastropub Awards.

“The team at the Three Fishes works extremely hard to ensure that our customers receive high quality service when they dine with us.”

The awards ceremony was held at the Crazy Bear at Stadhampton, Oxfordshire, and attended by chefs, managers and owners from the Top 50 list.

The awards, now in their fifth year, have established themselves as the leading event for the premium end of the UK food-led pub trade.

The Three Fishes is owned by Nigel Haworth, Craig Bancroft and Richard Matthewman and is a part of Ribble Valley Inns. RVI is part of the Northcote Group.
