The 2016 Salvation Army Christmas Toy Appeal, in conjunction with the Clitheroe Advertiser, has again seen many kind donations this week.

Appeal co-ordinator Captain Elizabeth Smith said: “We are seeing donation coming in steadily and are grateful as always for the generosity of the people of the Ribble Valley.

“An area where we are seeing a shortage this year would be for babies and children aged one to five, as lots of the toys received so far are for age three and above.”

Donations can be left at the Salvation Army Shop on Lowergate, or at the Skipton Building Society in Market Place, until Monday, December 19th.
