MUSIC: Tanzanian choir perform in Whalley

Bethany children's choir

Bethany children's choir

THE inspirational voices of children from the Bethany Choir lifted the hearts of several audiences in Whalley recently. The choir, who are from Tanzania, East Africa, returned to the Ribble Valley where they perfomed at a number of schools and at Whalley Parish Church during a tour of East Lancashrire,

The youngsters are part of a home and education project that is run by Christians and the choir’s visit was to raise the profile of the project to encourage more people involved. Anyone who would like more information about the choir can log on to www.bethanyfamily.net.
