'Vintage' shop opens at Backridge Farm

Vintage clothing, jewellery, handbags and homeware are on sale at Backridge Farm's latest addition.

Run by Lisa Savage, Just Vintage, has grown from the online company she set up last August – www.justvintage.co.uk

Now based in the former dairy at the Twitter Lane venue, she sells items "recycled" from the 1920s to the 1980s.

Lisa said: "I get stock in on a daily basis and it goes on my website on the same day unless we sell it in the shop. It's not just clothing, but jewllery, bags and homeware which can range in price from 5 up to 1,000."

Lisa aims to stock a range of pieces suitable for either a small gift or as a "wow" factor addition to a home.

She said: "Mixing new items with vintage is currently on-trend, as well as the environmental factors involved as afterall wearing vintage is a form of recycling."

Just Vintage is open from Tuesday to Sunday between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
