Teenage angler Calum Smalley and his England team-mates celebrated after winning the 2013 youth home international against Scotland, Wales and Ireland at Llyn Brenig in North Wales.

Calum (17), from Gisburn, who won the England national youth championship last year, was in the 14-strong team that caught 64 fish totalling 145 lb 10 oz, ahead of home team Wales with 56 fish totalling 132 lb 2.5 oz.

Each team member had fished qualifiers in their respective countries for the honour of competing in the home international.

Calum, who fishes nearly every weekend with dad Steve, has qualified as a member of the 2014 England youth team, in his final year before moving up to adult competition.
