The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Eric and Trish Hargreaves, of The Square, Waddington, and works as Group Digital Sales Manager for Johnston Press Plc. Her bridegroom, the son of Mr and Mrs Sean and Pam Hammond, of King’s Close, Ilkley, is Digital Motors Director for Northcliffe Media. Given away by her father, the bride wore an ivory taffeta A-line gown with drop shoulders and appliqué lace detail. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of peonies, hydrangea and roses. Attendants Mrs Claire Jones and Miss Laura Hatton wore tea-length dresses in mocha satin with puffball bottoms. They wore wrist corsages of pink roses with pearls and carried pewter-coloured clutch bags with diamanté detail. Best man was the bridegroom’s brother, Mr Simon Hammond, head groomsman was Mr Neal Jones and his fellow groomsmen were Messrs Matthew Atkinson, Matthew Dando, Mark Loynd and Richard Dakin. The service was conducted by Canon Geoff Dearden and a soloist sang “Come What May”, from the musical “Moulin Rouge”, during the signing of the register. A reception followed at the Inn at Whitewell and the newlyweds honeymooned in Venice, Rome and Sorrento. They will make their home in West Bradford. Picture by C. W. Photography, of Billington. | | | |  | A ROUND the world honeymoon followed the wedding of Sabden farmer’s son Richard Wright and Carrie Hughes of North Wales. The couple travelled to Los Angeles, Fiji, Australia and Singapore before returning to their home in Great Harwood. The couple, of Louis Pollard Crescent, were married at St Mary's Church, in LlanfairPG, (Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychchwyrndrobwyllllantisiliogogogoch) Anglesey, where the bride's parents Mr and Mrs Glyn and Dorothy Hughes live. Given away by her father, the bride, a human resources manager, wore a strapless embroidered satin gown complemented by a bolero jacket, and carried a bouquet of calla lilies and gerberas. She arrived at the church in a vintage Badsworth car and was attended by her sister Sarah Patrick, who wore a strapless, three-quarter length, chocolate brown dress and carried a posy of cala lilies and gerberas. Pageboys were the bride's nephew James Patrick, and nephews of the bridegroom Joshua Wright and Harry Wright Schofield. The ceremony, conducted by the Rev. Philip Hughes, included prayers in Welsh. The bridegroom, a construction manager, is the only son of Mr and Mrs John and Margaret Wright of Cobden Farm. His best man was James Johnson. Groomsmen were Daniel Ridgway and Daniel Walker and the bride's brother-in-law, Mark Patrick.
