LETTER: Taxi driver mowed down pet cat

I DO not know if this letter will achieve anything, but I hope it does.

Was there any need for the taxi driving travelling along the bottom of Coal Clough Lane near the bridge at 10-30pm, when the road was quiet, to purposefully speed up as a ginger cat was crossing the road, and run it over?

I hope you can live with yourself. The poor cat had a collar on, and did not die instantly; it suffered.
