LETTER: Help us out if you want our votes, councillors
If I could say thank you to our MP, Mr Gorden Birtwistle, for the help he has given myself and other residents here in the Duke Bar area of town, it would be very much appreciated.
It’s just a shame that one of our councillors/council leader could not find the time for the electorate when she was needed and although she will not speak with me now I would like to say this to all the councillors: do not forget who put them where they are in the first place.
If I may add to this by saying something my mum would always say to me when I was child, and this goes out to all the councillors in Burnley, if you want extra kisses you must firstly give bigger hugs and when I say kisses I do mean X’s on your ballot papers people.
