LETTER: Boundary change ideas should be scrapped

Who on earth dreamt up the proposed Burnley Boundary changes? What criteria was used for Burnley to lose three lovely rural areas and Reedley to Pendle?

How much of Burnley do they want? I’m also sure the residents of east Accrington don’t want to become part of Burnley. Let’s hope this idea is scrapped before 2015, and our MP Gordon Birtwistle keeps objecting with the majority of Burnley residents.
