Service users from Calderstones Partnership NHS Foundation Trust came away from their industry annual awards with a trio of prizes.
The awards come in the wake of the Trust, which supports people with challenging mental health or learning needs, also securing three nominations at the prestigious National Service User Achievement Awards.
The winning entries from Calderstones were a men’s health DVD addressing the delicate subject of testicular cancer, an art project which is currently exhibiting internationally and a support group for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender clients.
Calderstones Chief Executive David Young said: “Congratulations to all our service users who contributed to the projects which so impressed the judges. For all our nominees to come away with certificates is excellent. The staff who support them deserve great credit, but the awards rightly put centre stage the achievements of some of the most vulnerable members of society.”
