Daniel James Bagshaw : Obituary

BAGSHAW Daniel James (Baggy) Tragically on October 14th 2012, Whilst completing an olympic triathalon on Lan Tau Island, Hong Kong, Dan aged 27 years and 5 days, formerley of Accrington. The devoted and much loved youngest son of Peter and Shelagh. A much beloved brother of Ian and Gary. Soulmate to his beloved Julia. Loving brother-in-law to Liz and Sarah. A brilliant uncle to Benjamin, Ava and Mae. Nephew to Tony, Jean, George and John. Dear Grandson to Ada, also his late gran, cousin to Mark, Lee, Alison and John, Cherished friend of Sami, a very true friend to many. Dan always had time for everyone, he will be sadly missed by so many, as he touched so many hearts. A celebration of Dan's life will be held at St Mary Magdalene's Parish Church, Clitheroe on Thursday November 8th at 12 noon, followed by interment at Clitheroe Cemetery. Family flowers only please but if desired, donations can be made to a foundation to be set up in Dan's name to help local students who need some assistance with mentoring, guidance or tuition, to enable them to fulfill their potential, as he did.
