IT'S been some sporting year for Ribblesdale High Technology College.
Success has come in many forms, with tournament success mixed with county call-ups, across a whole range of disciplines.

From teams to individuals and rugby to rounders, all age groups have tasted success, and all have carried the name of the school proudly forward.

Alex Hartley was selected for the Year 9 Girls Lancashire cricket team, while Year 10 quartet Alicia Walker, Natasha Charnley, Mark Feeney and Jonathan Ainsworth represented the school at orienteering in the Lancashire Youth Games.

There were are also numerous Hyndburn and Ribble Valley representatives, with Year 7 pair Ashley Allen and George Banks competing in athletics along with Year 10 duo Connor Ripley and James Browness, and Year 8 and 9 quintet Liam Nuttall, Matthew Ashworth, George Drake, Hugh Graham and Chris Bowness achieving cricket selection.
