THERE has been a feast of footballing success at Ribblesdale High Technology College this year after its trophy cabinet was topped up considerably.
The Year 11 boys team enjoyed a successful season after winning the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley schools league as well as winning the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Schools cup. The side beat Clitheroe Royal Grammar School 3-1 in an enthralling final.

The Year 10 side repeated that success after they scooped the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Schools double.

The team, which went unbeaten throughout the league campaign, beat Accrington Acadamy in a penalty shoot-out after a 3-3 draw in the cup which made up for their quarter-final exit in the Lancashire Cup.

A championship trophy was also bestowed on the Year 9 side which won all their games on the way to being crowned the Ribble Valley football league kings and came within touching distance of winning the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Cup but lost 1-0 to Hollins in the final.

Year 8 also mounted an impressive season and won every game as they became Ribble Valley league champions and reached the semi-final of the cup where they were knocked out by Rhyddings.

And finally, the Year 7 youngsters topped off the school's sensational success after winning the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley cup, finishing second in the league and finishing second in the Lancashire Schools Cup where 64 schools entered.
