PROUD Ribblesdale High School Technology College pair Oliver Quigley and Ryan Brookes were paraded in front of the Blackpool fans on Saturday, after helping the club's Under 13s win the prestigious Shrewsbury International Tournament.
The competition attracted a record 140 teams in total, from across five continents, and the Seasiders' Centre of Excellence side came out on top of their age group.

Oliver and Ryan joined their team-mates to celebrate on the pitch at Bloomfield Road at half-time during Blackpool's Championship game with Sheffield United.

Oliver, a natural left-sided midfielder, played at left back in the tournament, alongside right winger Ryan, who reverted to centre back, as the two former Clitheroe Wolves played their part in the team's success.

Both youngsters play for their school team, with Oliver picked up five years ago by Blackpool, and Ryan scouted last year playing for the county.

Oliver had enjoyed similar tournament success with the Tangerines three years ago, when helping win the Umbro International Tournament in Manchester.

Two years previously, he featured on the front page of the Advertiser, having met England captain David Beckham at the Trafford Centre, along with older sister Jessica, after their parents Pat and Abigail won a radio competition.
