CLITHEROE'S Francesca Marsden hopes to have raised £500 for the Alzheimers Society after completing the Great Manchester Run.
A senior carer at Riverside Care Centre in Sawley, Francesca completed the 10km race in 68 minutes.
Francesca said: "I had set myself a target of raising £200 but I hope to have raised £500 in total. It was a really good day and all the way along the route there were different bands and a lot of supporters round the course. It was a really good atmosphere."
