CLITHEROE Dolphins saved their best performance for the last fixture of the season and the result secured their position in Division Two of the North West Micro League.
Ribble Valley's young swimmers produced 44 personal bests to secure a season-best 96 points and fourth place.

Ahead of them were champions-elect, Carnforth (160) , Ormskirk (114 ) and Blackpool (112).

There were individual wins for Will Murray ( butterfly and freestyle), Bethany Jones (breaststroke), Ishbel Aitken (freestyle) and Sam Jones (backstroke) and a fine win for the team's youngest relay team as Morgan Coulston, Oliver Murray, Thomas Nicholas and Lewis Maybin who came home first in the medley.

If anyone would like to join Clitheroe's successful competitive club, a small number of places are available.
