All-conquering Bowland!
THE all-conquering Year 10 netball team from Bowland High School has been crowned Hyndburn and Ribble Valley champions.
Their group games against Rhyddings County High, Oswaldtwistle, Mount Carmel RC High, Oswaldtwistle, and St Christopher's CE High School, Accrington, all resulted in victories.
And that set up the Bowland team for a winner-takes-all clash against St Augustine's RC High School, Billington.
In that game the team of Kathryn Duckworth, Sophie Cox, Hazel Swarbrick, Molly Nolan, Mellissa Pickard, Bethany Parson, Abbie McCabe, Jessica Hurley, Siobhan Hall and Hannah Greenwood won 12-7 to take the title.
