A CLITHEROE chocolatier has served up a thousand chocolate golf balls at the Open Championship at Royal Birkdale.
Coco Moyo is also celebrating after loans from Rosebud Finance and the Michelin Development Fund.

As a result of the Rosebud loan, Coco Moyo has moved into bigger premises and bought extra equipment to cope with the increased demand.

The business has established a reputation for producing high quality chocolate from its base at Backridge Farm, Waddington, and recently won a contract to supply handmade chocolates and pizzas to the Heathcote chain of restaurants. Company director Lisa Kennedy was also asked to make chocolate golf balls for a players' meal at the major golf championship.

Lisa said: "The business was started less than a year ago with help from our first Rosebud Finance loan. The business has gone from strength to strength. I am passionate about using ingredients from local suppliers whenever I can so neighbouring producers can also benefit and there is an area identity to the product."
