Clitheroe student in final of Young Economist of Year contest

A CLITHEROE college student has reached the finals of the prestigious Young Economist of the Year competition.

Rosemary Nolan, who is at St Mary's College, Blackburn, is one of a dozen finalists chosen from more than 200 schools and colleges nationwide.

A former pupil at St Augustine's RC High School, Billington, Rosemary is currently finishing her A-levels. She has secured a place to read economics and management at Balliol College, Oxford.
