PATRIOTIC sausages are on sale at Clitheroe's Booths store to help local people celebrate St George's Day on Monday!
Experts at the supermarket chain have created a special St George's Sausage to celebrate England's national day, using
premium pork sausages mixed with Young's St George's Ale, to give a distinctive flavour.
Booths' beer buyer Dave Smith says: "I don't think the English do enough to celebrate their national day. So I thought I should do my bit. I think the St George's Sausages we've created will be ideal for a hearty St George's Day breakfast, lunch or dinner."
The sausages will be available until April 28th.
