BLACKBURN Rovers footballer David Dunn visited Bolton-by-Bowland CE Primary School today (Tuesday) to "wake up and shake up" as part of National School Sports Week.
Children interviewed the player in the style of Sky Sports presenter Peter Stevenson, who had visited the school on Monday to talk about his career as a sports journalist.

The footballer then joined children, staff and parents for an aerobic workout to Rock FM's "Wake up and Shake up" DVD before signing memorabilia brought in by the children.

More excitement followed when Mr Stevenson was joined by a cameraman from Sky Sports News to interview the footballer and pupils. This will be screened on Sky Sports News later today.

Pupils at the school also experienced sports such as Tri-Golf, hockey, tennis and badminton as part of National School Sports Week.

Meanwhile, the whole school sports day will be held on Thursday afternoon in collaboration with Grindleton Primary School.
