£2,500 Breitling watch snatched from man's wrist in Clitheroe

POLICE are appealing for information after a man's watch was snatched from his wrist in Clitheroe.

At 1 a.m. on Sunday, May 31st, a 21-year-old man was standing at the entrance to Candlemakers Court, in Lowergate, when he was approached by another man who wanted to know the time.

As he looked at his watch, a Breitling Chrono Avenger worth £2,500, the man snatched it from his wrist and made off.

Police are appealing to anyone who saw what happened or who has any information to contact them.

The offender was a white man aged in his mid-20s, of medium build and had short dark hair. He was wearing a short sleeved polo shirt, which had white and dark horizontal stripes, and dark coloured jeans.
