6 mins - A pattern emerging here. Jay McEveley blocks off Chris Eagles and shoves Elliott to the floor.
7 mins - Burnley corner taken by Eagles comes to Clarke Carlisle, whose header comes off the bar, and Rhys Williams' shot is tipped over by Stephen Bywater.
Robbie Blake corner is headed over by Steven Caldwell.
10 mins - Elliott bizarrely gives away a corner, volleying behind from 40 yards when trying to pass back. Awful Kris Commons corner is cleared.
13 mins - Graham Alexander free kick deflected wide. Blake corner is too long.
20 mins - Teale shot tipped over by Jensen.
23 mins - Teale runs at Williams and lucky ricochet sees ball fall for Hulse, who rounds Jensen, but the Beast gets back to block. Superb stop.
28 mins - Martin Paterson, after closing down Savage, flies at Paul Connolly and is extremely lucky to only get a yellow card for a reckless challenge. A hostile atmosphere cranks up a couple of levels.
30 mins - After Eagles goes to ground too easily in the box under Lewin Nyatanga's challenge, Paterson passes up the chance to feed Chris McCann on the edge of the box, sees his shot blocked and also takes an unneccesary tumble. The referee could easily have given yellow cards to both Burnley players.
31 mins - Blake corner to Elliott, whose back heel finds Blake, but Savage robs his former Birmingham City teammate.
35 mins - Teale corner is headed away by Williams, and Jensen grabs Teale's return.
36 mins - After Hulse climbs all over Caldwell to head on, Commons runs at Kalvenes and falls in the area - hard to tell whether it was a genuine stumble or a dive, but certainly not a penalty.
39 mins - Quite ridiculous. Hulse links arms with Kalvenes and drags his shirt, but Caldwell is punished for climbing above Hulse. From the free kick, Savage's cross is turned goalwards by McCann, but Jensen is alert and saves with his legs.
42 mins - Eagles beats McEveley, and his cross is cleared to Elliott, who leans back and fires a rising drive well over.
45 mins - Paterson bursts into the box, but his pull back is cleared by McEveley, who gets there ahead of Eagles.

55 mins - Bannan corner is headed away by Elliott.
58 mins - Carlisle's raking pass finds Eagles, and he flicks the ball over McEveley, with Elliott playing a return pass. From Eagles' superb cross, Bywater collides with Martin Albrechtsen, and McCann turns in the loose ball.

67 mins - Blake corner is headed at goal by McCann, but his effort hits Hulse.
70 mins - Blake unleashes a stunning volley which flies into the side-netting.

86 mins - Gudjonsson appears to be brought down when clean through, inexplicably there is no penalty, or yellow card. There is no reason for the Iceland international to go to ground.
