OWEN Coyle celebrates his first home win as Burnley boss, against Plymouth.
Robbie Blake came off the bench to net the only goal of the game, just 10 minutes after his arrival.

The former Bradford man came on to replace Steve Jones just before the hour, and drilled home Wade Elliott's cross after some efficient work by the winger.

Burnley had gone eight league games without a home win, since the 2-1 success over Norwich on October 23rd.

But at the eighth time of asking, includingn the cup game against Arsenal, Coyle could finally celebrate a home win.

7 mins: Joey Gudjonsson's shot goes wide after Elliott robs Nalis and his cross is cleared to the edge of the area.

17 mins: Gudjonsson plays a delightful crossfield ball – one of many – out to Elliott on the right, and his volleyed cross fizzes across the face of goal.

26 mins: Gudjonsson attempts a long range shot, which thunders just over the angle of post and bar.

32 mins: Graham Alexander feeds Elliott, and after skipping past Lee Hodges, he picks out Gudjonsson, whose shot hits the bar and goes behind.

34 mins: Elliott is again at the centre of the action as he delivers another tempting cross into the Plymouth penalty area, but Steve Jones heads high and wide of goal.

40 mins: Paul Connolly is booked for a late challenge on David Unsworth.

45 mins +1: Elliott delivers another lofted cross in from the right, but again Jones heads high and wide.

45 mins +2: Stanislav Varga is booked for a shirt pull on Jutkiewicz.

Half Time: Burnley 0-0 Plymouth.

51 mins: Elliott, Gray and Alexander combine to create a shooting chance for Gray, whose effort deflects to Jones, whose shot takes a nick and goes behind for a corner.

53 mins: James O'Connor plays the ball out to Elliott, and when his cross floats over the head of Gray, the ball reaches Joey Gudjonsson, but his shot reaches the top tier of the Jimmy McIlroy stand.

56 mins: Jones puts the ball in the net but his effort is ruled out for off-side. It proves to be Jones' last action of the game as he is immediately replaced by Robbie Blake.

59 mins: Graham Alexander plays a lovely ball through for Robbie Blake, but the substitute slips as he takes the shot and the ball sails over the bar.

66 mins: GOAL!! A superb piece of skill from Elliott sees him change direction in an instant, before pulling the ball back for Blake to slam past Luke McCormack. Burnley 1-0 Plymouth.
